Ross Castle – take a guided tour of the 15th-century tower house on the edge of Lough Leane in Killarney National Park. Boat trips available on the lake (admission extra)

Muckross House & Gardens – located in the heart of Killarney National Park tour the Victorian house and enjoy the formal gardens. A standout feature is a rock garden carved into natural limestone, housing a diverse collection of alpine plants and heathers.

Ladies View – viewing point with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and lakes.

Torc Waterfall – a 200-metre walkway through lush green woodland to the waterfall where you might spot and be enchanted by a fairie!

Gap of Dunloe – visit Kate Kearney’s cottage and perhaps take a jaunting car through the Gap. Approx. 7 miles over 1.5 hours (admission extra)
